The aim of the group has been to view paintings from the earliest times to the present day. Currently we are looking at 20th century artists. We explore how attitudes have changed, both in the content of the paintings and in the expectations of viewers and commissioners of art. The paintings are seen on YouTube, followed by discussion around the artist and their work. There are occasional visits to Art Galleries.

The group meets on the fourth Friday of each month at 2 pm.
